TSABAA Annual Summer Conference Set for July 29–31

MengerHotel5TSABAA members have two very good reasons to attend July’s Summer Conference — an outstanding program and an historical San Antonio venue.

Summer Conference Program Chair Nancy Clark said, “The overall theme of the program this summer is to equip state business administrators with new tools to handle contracting, decision making, leadership, brainstorming and recognizing fraud, waste and abuse. In addition, we will have lessons learned on the strategic budget review and a recap of the session.”

The 46th Annual Summer Conference will be held at the Menger Hotel — the oldest continuously run hotel west of the Mississippi. And you can’t beat the location — right next to The Alamo and just a block from San Antonio’s famous River Walk.

Annual Conference Chair Lisa Nance said, “The summer conference offers a great opportunity for networking, with the added bonus of seeing the presentation for the Administrator of the Year Award.”

The conference objective is to foster good working relationships between the business and administrative counterparts of the various state agencies while providing formal training that supports the continuing education and training of all participating state employees.
