Dear TSABAA members, As always, I hope this letter finds you happy, healthy, refreshed from summer vacation and ready for legislative session. It is unbelievable how quickly the last year has elapsed, I suppose it’s a function of my age…

President’s Corner

Dear TSABAA members, I hope this letter finds you happy and healthy. I suspect you are all busy filling vacant positions and thinking through potential exceptional items—we all are. If you joined us at the 38th Mid-Winter Conference, it was…

A Special Thank You

Giving Thanks and Appreciation How many of us struggle to find time? We need time to organize our desks and files, time to compile notes from meetings, time to prepare for meetings, and—not to mention—time for actual meetings. I know…

President’s Message

I am confident that the many capitoltalented business professionals that make up our organization’s membership will be the real difference makers in the coming biennium as state agencies continue to fulfill their missions in the face of certain headwinds.

Looking Forward to Seeing You in Corpus!

Summer is finally here, and hopefully you’re enjoying family vacations, the nice weather, and the somewhat reduced traffic. That also means it’s almost time to head to the coast for our 47th Annual Summer Conference, which will be held at the lovely Bayfront Corpus Christi Omni Hotel July 20–22.

On to the Summer Conference in Corpus Christi July 20–22

I hope that the majority of you were able to attend the 36th Mid-Winter Conference in Kerrville. Phillip Ashley and his committees did a great job putting together a great program, and there were some great networking opportunities as well. We value your feedback on the conference survey and will do our best to make adjustments for continued improvement.

President’s Message

I am sure everyone is feeling both the stress and exhaustion of the legislative session — hopefully, it’s almost over! I am sure we will see many changes — some positive, some not so positive — result from the hard work that you and our legislators have completed over these past months. But for now let’s switch subjects, and I will tell you about something positive to look forward to this summer.

President’s Message
