Performs highly advanced and/or managerial (senior-level) accounting work. Work involves preparing and/or overseeing the preparation of financial analyses and reports; establishing, maintaining, and/or overseeing accounting systems, procedures, and controls; and preparing and/or overseeing the preparation of agency budgets. May plan, assign, and/or supervise the work of others. Works under minimal supervision, with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Veterans, Reservist or Guardsman with an MOS or additional duties that fall in the fields of Army – 36B Financial Management Technician; Navy – LS Logistics; Coast Guard – 420 Store Keeper; Marines – 3451 Financial Management Resource Analyst; Air Force – 6F0X1 Financial Management and Comptroller or other related fields pertaining to the minimum experience requirement may meet the minimum qualifications for this position.
