Performs advanced (senior-level) attorney work. Work involves organizing and planning legal activities, coordinating the preparation of legal documents, coordinating and providing advice regarding various hearings, interpreting laws and regulations,and rendering legal advice and counsel. May assign and/or supervise the work of others. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Veterans, Reservist or Guardsman with an MOS or additional duties that fall in the fields of 27A Judge Advocate General, SC – Judge Advocate General Corps, LGL10 Legal, 4402 Judge Advocate, 51JX Judge Advocate, or other related fields pertaining to the minimum experience requirement may meet the minimum qualifications for this position.
