Texas Comptroller of Public Accounts
Performs complex (journey-level) contract management work. Work involves evaluating a broad range of contracts and the underlying data that determines legislative reporting requirements. Duties involve review, evaluation, risk assessment and writing recommendations for improving practices. Duties also involve monitoring and maintaining contracts data in the Centralized Accounting and Personnel / Payroll System (CAPPS) and making sure all is consistent with the raw data in spreadsheets and other applications. Serves as a liaison to the Comptroller Procurement Division (CPD) and Operations and Support Legal Services (OSLS) Division, and as coordinator for posting agency contracts to either the Legislative Budget Board (LBB) or agency external web site. Works with Fiscal Management on the interfaces and other automation components, including business intelligent reports, to affect changes that meet division needs. May train others. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
