Texas General Land Office
The Texas General Land Office primarily serves the schoolchildren, veterans, and the environment of Texas. The agency does so by preserving our history, maximizing state revenue through innovative administration, and through the prudent stewardship of state lands and natural resources. This position is with our Contract Management Program Area and will perform contract technical assistance and review work.
Performs highly complex (senior-level) contract technical assistance and review work. Work involves preparing and reviewing contract material, verifying billings for fiscal accuracy and completeness, and preparing reports on contract development and management. May train others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
Military Crosswalk Information – Veterans, Reservist or Guardsman with an MOS or additional duties that fall in the fields of Army – 51C, Acquisition, Logistics and Technology (AL&T) Contracting NCO; Navy – LS, Logistics Specialist; Coast Guard – 420, Storekeeper; Marines – 3044 Operational Contract Support Specialist; Air Force – 6C0X1, Contracting; or other related fields pertaining to the minimum experience requirement may meet the minimum qualifications for this position.
