Performs advanced (senior-level) human resources management work. Work involves directing, administering, and monitoring the human resources management program and ensuring compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. Serves as the backup payroll administrator and safety officer. May participate in risk management, records management, purchasing, and property management activities. Work also involves developing and implementing communications to inform employees, consumers, and stakeholders regarding pertinent issues. May supervise the work of others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Performs related work as assigned.
