JOB DESCRIPTION: The Enforcement Division is charged with detection and prevention of violations of the Securities Act, including fraud committed in connection with the sale of securities, illegal sales of unregistered securities, and sales of securities by unregistered parties.  The Administrative Assistant will work in the Enforcement Division of the State Securities Board in its Corpus Christi Office.   The employee will be responsible for compiling and entering data for charts, graphs, databases, summaries, and reports, as well as preparing and editing correspondence and preparing and disseminating information relevant to the Enforcement Division.   The employee will also be responsible for general office duties, including scanning and copying records, maintaining filing systems, preparing routine correspondence, answering telephone calls and routing mail.  The employee also performs related work as assigned. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (License, Education, Experience): The applicant must have graduated from a standard senior high school or the equivalent and have knowledge of office practices and administrative procedures. The applicant must also be skilled in the use of standard office equipment and software, such as word processing, spreadsheet, and electronic mail applications.  The candidate must also be able to effectively communicate with others.
