General Description
Performs highly advanced (senior-level) investigative work for the Enforcement Team. Work involves assisting the Director of Enforcement in the planning, organizing, and conducting of investigations regarding complaints filed against agency licensees, registrants, and/or applicants, including, conducting investigations; developing policies, procedures, and guidelines used in investigations; and developing standards and measurement tools for evaluating and monitoring investigative goals of work performed by the Investigations Team. Investigatory work is conducted throughout the State of Texas, with administrative work being conducted at a designated duty point.
For this position, the designated duty point should be located in a major metropolitan area of Texas such as the Greater Austin Area, Greater San-Antonio Metroplex, Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, or the Greater Houston Area.
Works under minimal supervision of the Director of Enforcement with extensive latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Works closely with the Legal Team to ensure case reports and files contain sufficient evidence to institute disciplinary action against a licensee, registrant, or applicant. Work is subject to review by the Executive Director, General Counsel, and Director of Enforcement.
