The Office of the Governor is looking for an Administrative Assistant (Administrative Assistant IV) to work in the Financial Services Division.

What You’ll Earn
The salary is $4,166.67 – $4,583.34 a month ($50,000.04 – $55,000.08 a year).

What You’ll Do
This is a job that performs highly complex (senior-level) administrative support work. Work involves making transaction entries in multiple accounting systems, preparing reconciliations and work papers supporting the financial statements.
- Supports all accounting functions performed within the Financial Services Division.
- Conducts Texas Identification Number System (TINS) reviews. Enters transactions and monitors reports.
- Receives, date-stamps, records, and distributes incoming mail and invoices.
- Receives, records, and ensures the safekeeping of cash/checks.
- Performs accurate data entry in financial systems.
How You’ll Qualify
Four (4) years of professional experience.
Note: Experience and education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.
You’re a Great Fit with
- A degree from an accredited four-year college or university with a degree in accounting.
- Accounting experience using the Centralized Accounting and Payroll/Personnel System (CAPPS) and the Uniform Statewide Accounting System (USAS).
