GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

Performs complex (journey-level) consultative services and technical assistance relating to the monitoring of licensees with disciplinary orders to ensure compliance with the order. Work involves processing public disciplinary orders for licensees; overseeing the drug screening in accordance with established policy and procedures attending; may be required to testify in criminal/civil courts and administrative hearings.  Work also includes communicating with licensees; processing complaints in accordance with established procedures, including data entry; preparing a variety of written correspondences, including educational and dismissal letters; and providing technical information regarding laws and rules over the telephone regarding the practice of pharmacy, including training activities. Works under the general supervision of the Enforcement Manager, with moderate latitude for initiative and judgment within the limits of the agency and Enforcement Team policies and procedures. Work is subject to review by others, including the Executive Director, Director of Enforcement, General Counsel, and other staff.
