General Description

Performs moderately complex (journey-level) technical assistance work relating to the monitoring of data submitted to the Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP). Work involves planning, developing, and conducting compliance reviews and audits on pharmacy-submitted data, pharmacist activity in AWARxE, and pending AWARxE registration accounts and providing technical assistance to agency staff and licensees. May provide guidance to others. Works under the general supervision of the Prescription Monitoring Program Manager with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment within the limits of the agency and PMP Team policies and procedures. Work is subject to review by others, including the PMP Manager, General Counsel, and Executive Director.
