GENERAL POSITION DESCRIPTION

Performs routine (journey-level) technical assistance work related to planning, developing, and implementing the Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP). Work involves coordinating the development, implementation, and monitoring of specialized data ad-hoc reports and research projects pertaining to the PMP using business intelligence and relational database platforms. Provides technical assistance and communicates information in person, electronically, and by telephone to licensees, governmental agencies, and the general public.

Works under the moderate supervision of the Prescription Monitoring Program Manager with limited latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment within the limits of the agency and PMP Team policies and procedures. Work is subject to review by others, including the PMP Manager, General Counsel, and Executive Director.
