The DPS Chief Auditor’s Office (CAO) is seeking a motivated, experienced, and innovative Audit Manager (Manager VI, B27) to join its team.  The CAO conducts both assurance and advisory engagements, tailoring our engagement to what is best for both our client and our organization as a whole.  We embrace teamwork, collaboration, and diversity to bring a solutions-oriented approach to help our organization meet its goals and objectives of protecting and serving the state of Texas.  Successful candidates must carry either Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) or Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation.

The Texas Department of Public Safety (Department) Chief Auditor’s Office is a progressive and innovative internal audit shop that provides independent and objective assurance and advisory services designed to add value and improve DPS operations. The successful candidate will participate in the strategic direction of the audit activity, oversee audits and advisory engagements, and assist in training and mentoring staff within our office.  We are seeking a skilled Internal Audit professional who possesses a desire for continuous learning and innovation and is looking to grow their career while supporting the Department’s mission to protect and serve the citizens of Texas.
