Policy Research & Budget Analyst- Management Analyst III #0505-25
The Policy Research and Budget Analyst is selected by and responsible to the Deputy Executive Director – Administrative Services and performs advanced budget analysis, informational, reporting and policy analysis work under guidance from the Senior Policy Research & Budget Analyst. Duties include preparing, analyzing and reviewing the agency budget, revenue schedules and legislative requests; monitoring agency performance measures; assisting in the preparation of state budget reports and agency fee schedules; assisting in the preparation, coordination and dissemination of information concerning agency functions for agency personnel, Commissioners, the public, state and local officials, and various public entities; statistical, documentary, and investigatory research; preparation of complex reports; reviewing operations and procedures manuals to assist management in operating more efficiently and effectively; and coordinating the agency fiscal note process. The Policy Research and Budget Analyst works under limited supervision with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment.
