The Office of the Governor is looking for a Compliance Coordinator (Program Specialist IV) to work in the Public Safety Office – Grants Administration.

The salary is $5,100.00 – $5,500.00 a month ($61,200.00 – $66,000.00 a year).

What You’ll Do
This position provides highly complex (senior-level) consultative services and technical support to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders. Work involves planning, developing, and implementing agency grant progress/performance management programs; coordinating PSO records management and Public Information Request responses; and providing consultative services and technical assistance to program staff, governmental agencies, community organizations, and other stakeholders.
- Coordinates the submission of progress/performance data to the applicable state or federal agencies, entities, or organizations.
- Collaborates in the planning, development, implementation, analysis, and documentation of the PSO’s data collection methods for state and federal progress/performance reporting requirements for all PSO sub-grants.
- Serves as a liaison with state and federal partners regarding progress/performance reporting requirements, includes collaborating with program staff to determine trends and resolve technical problems.
- Serves as a liaison to OOG staff, government agencies, community organizations, and the general public to explain and provide technical assistance related to performance requirements and/or processes.
- Monitors, reviews, and evaluates compliance with state and federal reporting policies and procedures, statutes, and rules for all PSO managed grant funds.
- Reviews reports for completeness, compliance with standards, uniformity in method, and adherence to statutes, departmental policies, and legal decisions.
- Coordinates the building and maintenance of a data visualization platform.
- Maintains and updates the PSO’s Access Database.
- Monitors implementation of state reporting requirements resulting from new or revised legislation.
- Coordinates with PSO program managers to evaluate progress in meeting state and federal progress/performance reporting goals.
- Obtains local, county, and statewide data to develop reports and recommendations.
- Prepares and reviews reports on the effectiveness of progress/performance reporting activities, at the request of management.
- Assists in the collection, organization, analysis, and/or preparation of materials in response to requests for progress/performance reporting information and reports.
- Analyzes grant guidance to develop recommendations for policy changes to improve the effectiveness of grantee progress/performance reporting.
- Collects, organizes, analyzes, and prepares materials in response to management requests for status information and reports.
- Defines, develops, and implements data and reporting standards.
- Analyzes data quality results and implements necessary changes to ensure data quality improvement.
- Collaborates and coordinates with program staff in determining trends and resolving technical problems.
- May guide the selection of data management tools and the development of standards, usage guidelines, and procedures for those tools.
- May develop policy and procedure manuals, as well as guides and reference materials for grantees.
How You’ll Qualify
- High school graduate or equivalent; and
- Four (4) years of progressively responsible experience in grant or program management, data analysis, research, and/or reporting work.
Note: Experience and education may be substituted for one another on a year-for-year basis.

- Knowledge of the state’s Uniform Grant Management Standards.
